GLOBAL BIOTECH WEEK-BIOSEPTEM 2020
The Department of Biosciences, Union Christian College is commemorating the GLOBAL BIOTECH WEEK from September 28- October 4 2020.The formal inaguration will be at 10 a.m. on 28th September 2020 by the Principal Dr.David Saj Mathew.
Dr.Surekha Zingde former deputy director, ACTREC ( Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer), Tata Memorial Centre, Navi Mumbai will deliver a talk on ‘Proteomics to Integromics’ following the inagural session
Dr Rita Mulherkar, Hon.Director & VP, Moving Academy of Medicine,Pune and former Scientific Officer and Professor at ACTREC will speak at 10 a.m. on the topic ‘Genomics and Molecular Medicine’ on 04th October 2020 which will bring the events to a close. The valedictory session will follow where the prize winners for the various competitions will be announced.
Bioseptum 2020 intends to celebrate aptitude,skill and knowledge in biotechnology for students . With an exciting prize pool there are competitions in Article Writing, Logo Designing, Poster Making, Photography, Webinar and Quiz.
