Advanced Training/Research program on Molecular Characterization of Double Stranded (ds)RNA and Protein Signatures Development in the Fungus Rhizoctonia solani
Dr. Sareen Sarah John , Assistant Professor, Department of Biosciences, Union Christian College, Aluva visited Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA as Exchange Visitor Scholar and took 5-week Advanced Training/research program on Molecular Characterization of Double Stranded (ds)RNA and Protein Signatures Development in the Fungus Rhizoctonia solani from 12th March 2022 to 30th April 2022. This training program was accomplished as part of the MOU between the Department of Biosciences, Union Christian College, Aluva, India and the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics and Department of Biology, Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), PA 15705, USA for academic collaboration and faculty and student exchange. Through cooperation with Dr. N. Bharathan at IUP, we hope to foster opportunities for reciprocal training and graduate education in the near future for promising Union Christian College and IUP students.
