Mr.Nizam Muhammed student of B.Sc BT & SP under the guidance of Dr. Jyothilekshmi extracted banana fibers during his final year project at our department . These fibres were skillfully woven into a cloth using handlooms at IIHT Kannur by Mr. Manoharan, Senior Technical Assistant at IIHT Kannur.
