National Symposium on Nuclear Energy – Its Generation and Applications
Science departments of Union Christian College, Aluva, along with Indian Nuclear Society and Atomic Energy Retirees’ Association, Kerala is jointly organising a 2 day national symposium on “Nuclear Energy – its Generation and Application” in Union Christian College from February 23rd to 24th,2023 from 9.30 am onwards. Dr.K.N.Madhusoodanan, Vice Chancellor, Cochin University of Science and Technology will inaugurate the symposium.
Dr.M.I Punnoose (Principal, Union Christian College) will preside over the inaugural function and Shri. M. Venkatachalam, Executive Director, NPCIL will deliver the keynote address. Rev. Thomas John (Manager, Union Christian College), Sri.G.D Mittal (Secretary, INS), Shri.K.R Viswambharan, Dr.T.R Govindankutty (AERAK) will also address the gathering.
15 Scientists and 11 Research Scholars will present their papers in this symposium. Dr. Sreejith C.M, Controller of Examinations, Mahatma Gandhi University will be the Chief Guest for the Valedictory session.
More than 300 Students and faculty members are expected to attend this symposium of national importance.
